Please note that in order to fulfill your requests for paid services (e.g., shopping, etc.), we share your payment information with our payment processor.

  • Deactivate your Egowall account.

4. Your Obligations to Other Users

  • Do not abuse the Egowall Service by using it to spam, abuse, harass, or otherwise violate the User Agreement or Privacy Policy.

  • Egowall does not provide accounts to children under the age of thirteen and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen.
  • Notice of all changes that affect ways in which your personal information may be used or shared will be posted in updates to our Privacy Policy.

  • Personal information you provide will be secured in accordance with industry standards and technology. Since the internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Egowall.

It applies to the Egowall website and Egowall LLC. The Egowall website is a social networking and gaming site. By using the Egowall website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection of Your Personal Information

Your information is the information that’s required when you sign up for the site, as well as the information you choose to share. We collect your personal information in the following ways:

A. Registration

All Egowall Services require registration. In order to become a User, you must provide us the following information to create an account: name, email address, date of birth, gender, and password. Some of this information is listed publicly on our Services, including on your profile page and in search results. You acknowledge that this information is personal to you, and by creating an account on Egowall, you allow others, including Egowall, to identify you and to allow Egowall to use your information in accordance with our User Agreement.

B. Profile Information

Once you become a User, you may provide us with profile information to make public to other Egowall customers, such as a profile picture and various areas of interest and expertise. Any information you provide at registration or in the Profile section may be used by Egowall as described in the User Agreement and this Privacy Policy.

C. Other Information

We also receive other types of information about you:

  • We receive data about you whenever you interact with Egowall, such as when you look at another person’s home, send or receive a message or note, search for a connection, click on, view or otherwise interact with things, or make purchases through Egowall.
  • When you upload photos to Egowall, we may receive additional related data (or metadata), such as the time, date, and place you took the photo.
  • We receive data from the computer you use to access Egowall. This may include your IP address and other information such as your internet service, location, the type (including identifiers) of browser you use, or the pages you visit. Additionally, your system specifications (such as OS, RAM, video card, monitor, system configuration, crash data, etc.) may be reviewed/recorded by us in order to improve your experience.
  • If you purchase Egowall’s Products and Services, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction(s).
  • We may use your contact information to send you information about our Services or to market to you. We may use your contact information to help other Egowall customers find your account. If you email us, we may keep your message, email address and contact information to respond to your request.

D. Cookies

We use cookies and log files to track site usage and trends, to improve the quality of our Service, and to customize your experience on Egowall. A cookie is a tiny data file that resides on your computer which allows us to recognize you as a User when you return to the Egowall website using the same computer and web browser.

You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting Egowall. We will respond to your request within 30 days. Please note, however that information you have shared with others, or that other Users have copied, may also remain visible even if you request its deletion.

F. Data Retention

Egowall will retain your information for so long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to deactivate your account, you may do so by contacting Egowall. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce this Agreement.

Use of Your Personal Information

A. Consent to Egowall Processing Information About You

The information you provide to Egowall may reveal, or allow others to identify, your nationality, ethnic origin, gender, age, and other aspects of your life.

By providing information to us for the purposes of creating your User account or adding any additional details to your Egowall profile, you are expressly and voluntarily accepting the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and Egowall’s User Agreement that allow Egowall to process information about you. Supplying information to Egowall, including any information deemed “sensitive” by applicable law, is entirely voluntary on your part.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to Egowall’s collection and processing of your information at any time, in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy and the User Agreement, by contacting Egowall, or by deactivating your account, but please note that your withdrawal of consent will not be retroactive.

B. Notifications and Other Messages

As described in the User Agreement, we will communicate with you through email, notices posted on the Egowall website or through other means available through the Services. We may send you a series of emails that help inform new Users about the features of the Services, and we will also send you service messages relating to the functioning of the Services.

C. User Communications

Communications that you initiate through the Egowall website, like a request for a connection, will list your name as the initiator but will not include your personal email address contact information.

D. Sharing Information with Third Parties

Egowall takes the privacy of our Users very seriously, and we do not sell, rent, or otherwise provide your personally identifiable information to third parties, except as described in this policy.

Egowall may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Egowall, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Egowall will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Egowall or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Egowall; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Egowall, or the public.

E. Search

We offer search services to help find Egowall Users locate other Users in the Service. We use information from User profiles to support and refine our search service.

F. Service Providers

We give your information to the people and companies that help us provide, understand and improve the services we offer. For example, we may use outside vendors to help host our website, process payments, store data, analyze data, or other functionality. In all of these cases our partners must agree to only use your information consistent with the agreement we enter into with them, as well as this Privacy Policy.

G. Disclosures to Others as the Result of a Change in Control or Sale of Egowall LLC.

In the event that Egowall is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, we may transfer to the new owner so that they can continue to operate the Service. The new owner will still be required to honor the promises set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Your Information Choices

A. Accessing and Changing Your Account Information

As a registered user of Egowall, you can review the personal information you provided to us and make any desired changes to the information you publish, or to the settings for your Egowall account including your email and contact preferences, at any time by logging in to your account on the Egowall website. Please be aware that even after your request for a change is processed, Egowall may, for a time, retain residual information about you in its backup and/or archival copies of its database.

B. Deactivating Your Account

If you want to stop using your account, you can deactivate it.

Deactivation

Deactivating your account puts your account on hold. Other Users will no longer be able to visit your homes, but we do not delete any of your information. Deactivating an account is the same as you telling us not to delete any information because you might want to reactivate your account at some point in the future. You can deactivate your account on your account settings page.

Your connections will still see you listed in their cliques while your account is deactivated.

Your Obligations to Other Users

As a User, you have certain obligations to other Users. Some of these obligations are imposed by applicable law and regulations, and others have become commonplace in user-friendly communities of like-minded members such as Egowall:

  • You must, at all times, abide by the terms and conditions of the then-current Privacy Policy and User Agreement. This includes respecting all intellectual property rights that may belong to third parties (such as trademarks or photographs).
  • You must not upload or otherwise disseminate any photos or information that may be deemed to be injurious, violent, offensive, racist or xenophobic, or which may otherwise violate the purpose and spirit of Egowall and its community of Users.
  • You must keep your username and password confidential and not share it with others.

Any violation of these guidelines may lead to the restriction, suspension or termination of your account at the sole discretion of Egowall.

Important Information

A. Children and Minors

Egowall does not provide accounts to children under the age of thirteen and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at admin@esmtgroup.com.

If we become aware that a child under thirteen has provided us with personal information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account.

B. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time, with or without advance notice. In the event there are significant changes in the way we treat your personally identifiable information, or in the Privacy Policy document itself, we will display a notice on the Egowall website or send you an email, so that you may review the changed terms prior to continuing to use the site. As always, if you object to any of the changes to our terms, and you no longer wish to use Egowall, you may deactivate your account. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that Egowall has about you and your account.

Using the Egowall Services after a notice of changes has been sent to you or published on our site shall constitute consent to the changed terms or practices.

Security

In order to help secure your personal information, access to your data on Egowall is password-protected, and sensitive data (such as credit card information) is protected by SSL encryption when it is exchanged between your web browser and the Egowall website. To protect any data you store on our servers, Egowall also regularly audits its system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, and we use a tier-one secured-access data center. However, since the internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Egowall. There is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information.
