27 Aug 20+ Colorful Frames To Highlight Your Favorite Photos

The most compelling things available for telling your story in Egowall can be found on your computer’s hard drive or in your smartphone’s Camera Roll.

Upload your favorite photos or other digital artworks into the game from your PC, laptop or any cloud service (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.) to get started.

Once pictures have been stored in one of the available media bins, you can start displaying them in any of your living spaces.

To enhance the images’ appearance, we provide two different frame types for them – standard and custom.

Let’s learn a bit more about them and why you might choose one over the other.

Standard Frames

When you drag a picture from storage to a wall, the image is automatically assigned a black frame.

At any time thereafter you can (optionally) change the black frame to one of these color/ material options:

• Light Wood

• White Plastic

• Tan Plastic

• Red Plastic

• Orange Plastic

• Black Plastic

• Stripe Material

• Light Metal

• Contemporary Brown Metal

• Contemporary Black Metal

• No Frame

You can change the frame’s appearance (or remove it altogether) any time you wish, but if you remove the photo from the room, the frame disappears with it.

Standard frames are available to users at no additional cost.

Custom Frames

Custom frames behave differently than standard frames, as follows:

• They are placed in a living space without first assigning pictures to them

• All custom frames can be resized, but desktop frames (unlike wall frames) can be scaled in all three dimensions

• A custom frame cannot be replaced/exchanged without first removing (i.e., returning it to its media bin) any photo added to it.

The following styles of custom frames are available:

• Single frame (desktop)

• Multiframe (desktop) – 3 and 4 photo options

• Metal Single frame (wall)

• Plastic single frame (wall)

• Wood single frame (wall)

• Multiframe (wall) – 3, 5, and 8 photo options

• Custom canvas (frameless)

To add a picture to a custom frame, simply drag it over the custom frame and release it. It will snap in place at the destination location.

The image can come from a media bin, from a placed standard frame, or from another custom frame in the same room.

Custom frames are premium products – they must be purchased within the game.
