For the last month or so, we have been sharing images of an assortment of Egowall‘s sixty Retro furniture objects on our Instagram feed.

Last week, we accidentally included a contemporary (or modern) piece in what was planned to be our last full week of Retro objects.

Looks like it is indeed time to move on to another series of thematic images in Instagram, as the Contemporary King Bed w/Split Headboard seen at right was far and away our most popular post for the week of September 26 – October 2, 2016.

It really is a beautiful piece, isn’t it?

We love the stark contrast between the dark brown wood of the headboard/frame and the aqua pillows and corresponding bedspread accents.

As for those accents – what are they? Circles? Bubbles?

Far be it from us to tell you what you should see there. We leave that up to your interpretation.

Either way, they really provide a sense of fun to the King Bed w/Split Headboard.

And make it a fitting cap to our series of Retro furniture posts (heh).

As we have said previously, the Retro objects are among our favorites in the entire Egowall catalog.

And they must be high up there for you as well, as they have received a lot of positive feedback over these weeks.
