07 Sep College Football’s Best Opening Weekend Was Great For This Picture
At the risk of repeating ourselves here on the blog, our most popular Instagram post for the week of August 29 – September 4, 2016 was the image you see below.
Public Space: Rivalries – a screen capture of the interior of one of the eight public spaces featured on our landing page – was also the subject of a blog post last week.
The blog post was tied to last Friday’s annual celebration of College Colors Day, which is sort of the unofficial kickoff date for the college football season.

We designed the Rivalries space to suggest that it is possible to be social even when members of a group (be they family or friends) want to watch more than one college football game at the same time.

It is a customized version of the Beach Bungalow living space with team colors, kitchen furniture, and various other accoutrements added to the mix to fill it out.
We made the space public so that anyone can see it, just like you’re thinking about doing right now.

P.S.
Our family had a pretty good first weekend of college football.
Every one of our teams won – which HARDLY EVER HAPPENS – with the best game being Texas’ thrilling win in 2OT over Notre Dame on Sunday night.
Hook ’em. Woo Pig. Sic ’em. C-A-R-D-S.
And we’ll see you back here next week.
