We want everyone to enjoy what Egowall brings to the table as a new kind of social networking platform, so we have worked hard to ensure that it is fully compatible with both Apple Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows computers.

That said, there are specific minimum requirements for your system to ensure the best possible user experience; these are listed below.

Operating System

Egowall is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS X with 4GB RAM or greater. We recommend using the 64-bit versions of the operating systems. Performance will also increase if you add more RAM to your system.

Microsoft Windows

• Operating Systems: Windows 7 (w/Service Pack 1), Windows Vista (w/Service Pack 2), and Windows XP (w/Service Pack 3)
• Processor: Dual-core processor
• Memory: 4 GB RAM
• Video: 3D graphics processor with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability with minimum 256MB dedicated VRAM
• DirectX: Must be compatible with DirectX 9 (Pixel Shader 2.0)
• Sound: DirectX-compatible sound card or motherboard sound capability
• Input: Keyboard and multi-button mouse

• Browser: Internet Explorer 8+, Firefox 5+, Chrome (latest)
• Storage: 5GB or more free hard drive space is required

Apple Mac OS X

• Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6.x (Snow Leopard) and higher
• Processor: Intel 1.8GHz
• Memory: 4 GB RAM
• Video: 3D graphics processor with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability with 128 MB VRAM
• Input: Mouse and Keyboard
• Storage: 5GB or more free hard drive space is required
